...Welcome...
I created Silent Reverie in my desperate need to create more space on Eternal Legends. Many of the pictures on here take up quite a bit of space and it was a huge strain on EL, so I opted for the next best thing: a website devoted to my art.
This is almost a sketchbook for me, aside from the real things sitting about my apartment that are driving my husband crazy. It shows my progress as an artist and the slow changes and surety of which I've gained while drawings. While updates are few and far between, I hope that all of you are pleased the with results before you.
Please take your time as you browse amongst these pages.

...Silent Reverie...
Reverie 're-v&-rE, 'rev-rE/ noun French rêverie, from Middle French, delirium, from resver, rever to wander, be delirious 1: daydream 2: the condition of being lost in thought
Most of these pieces that I have either drawn or written were while I was in a reverie, or a daydream. I think that is a more approriate title for this website than Requies, as cool as it sounds. So, here we are again, with all of my work. Please, feel free to stay a while and have a look around and immerse yourself in my reveries.
As Galena Venowen once sang, long before she became the Black Paladin and general of her own army,
Come. Stay awhile
Let me soothe your soul
Let your mind wander
Amongst the Sea of Stars
And your soul drift among them
Stay awhile
And wander in your Blue Heaven
Marvel at the beauty
That was created
By those who still believe
Think not of its Sorrow and Regret
Think now of its Everlasting Grace
Stay with me
And wander in my Silent Reverie
Of Stars and Galaxies
As they crash into dust
Of Worlds and Realms
As they are born anew
Of Heroes and Warriors
As they fade into myth and legend
Stay here
Beneath the neverending sky
And watch as the River of Souls
Carries its burden to the heavens above
And listen to the Echoes of Angels
As they sing Your Song
Of Timelessness
Of Endlessness
And of an Eternity Untold

...About Eternal Legends...
I wanted to make a website, but I wasn't quite sure what I wanted. Then, while RPing with some friends, I had a revelation: What if I did a website that not only promotes my own work, but the work of others? EL is the result, eventhough it's mainly populated by things created by me. There are works by other people listed and I hope to only increase the list of people that have submitted works to me.
Some of you may wonder why I would want more works by other artists and writers. It's very simple, actually. I love reading and looking at other people's works. It's one of my favorite past times. ^_^ So, I hope to hear from some more people now and perhaps receive more wonderful work. :)
...About Adrian Cross: Sacred and Profane...
This is quite simple, really. A friend of mine absolutely loves my story Sweet Tunes from Hell. So also fell in love with the lead character, whose name is Adrian Cross, Prince of S'ran, Lord of Cross Keep. He is a rather compelling character and I think my friend picked up on that. She convinced me to create a small little shrine in his honor.
So, I created a shrine. Why I tacked on "Sacred and Profane" at the end is for irony's sake(read the story and you'll find out why). I haven't had a whole lot of time to update it lately, but I've been working in the background to feverishly get his story done as well as all of the art I've done of him(mental note: finish covers for story).
...About Letters from the Heart...
This subsite wasn't in the original layout of the plans. Of course, neither was AC:SaP. Still, this subsite was created for other reasons than someone being a huge fan of the story.
I had originally written this story as a result of some role-playing I did with a friend of mine. I wanted to do something for our two characters named Lucien and Celesta. The interaction between our two characters prompted me to write a story about them. I quickly became obsessed with their story and the characters. I immersed myself in my work. Even as I finished writing it, I wasn't satisfied. The story was disjointed and a little incoherent. So, I analyzed the story, picked it up again, and rewrote it, making the story mine.
The love between them was almost like one of those Shakespearean plays or one of those novels by the Bronte sisters. Their love was a very private thing. Not many truly knew what happened between the two of them in the story. The love they shared was as plain as daylight, but still no one seemed to have noticed. Everyone, save one person, seemed to have underestimated the overly formal, shy, easily embarrassed gentleman from a distant land that had become a knight.
I hope I have given the characters more depth and done the characters justice in my presentation of them. I truly hope you enjoy the story.
